re there any chocolate menorahs? Yes, there are, but I guess that's the wrong festival! (or do you light the menorah at Passover too?)

    No menorahs on passover.

The latest menu addition is smorgasbord made of melted marshmallow and chocolate between pieces of matzo crackers.

For our seder meal tonight we have serviettes printed as matzo crackers and wine coasters illustrating the 10 plagues (it is that part of the bible we commemorate on Passover).

I have just eaten the other three hot cross buns. So that's all temptation out of the way now.

Well, that's it, you see, you are removing the source of the temptation, so that you will no longer be tempted.

Sounds like a thing to me! :D

As for moi, well there were four in the packet, and I have learned from experience that they, ahem, go stale very quickly once said packet is opened, so I toasted all four, and as every fule noes, they are at their best when warm, and so it's a sacrilege to allow them to get cold, so they got scoffed toute suite.

But I forgot about a rare coffee, and had a big cup of green tea instead, to wash them down.

In my defence, two count as a late Breakfast and two as an early Tea, with the pasta/vegan ragu for lunch, so that's probably me done today, and at least I enjoyed the buns! :D

Those would seem very very odd things to put on wine coasters if they were taken out of context.

I saw an ad for 10 finger puppets with one for each plague years ago. Can't remember any details, though.

Hope you have a lovely seder, silvercar, also GDB and any other Jewish NP.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

The combination of matso serviettes and plague coasters made me giggle!

Ok then peops, who can name the plagues without googling?

    Not you, Silvercar! :D

I can remember, off the top of my head........in no particular order........
locusts, boils, river of blood, famine?, first born dying, frogs, ummm..........

Was there also a cloud of dust, or am I mixing that up with the locusts?

    Edit.

Am either thinking of cloud of locusts, or confusing it with the pillar of smoke that was the daytime guide through the desert.

Oooh ... let me try. I've skimmed through other people's answers so as not to cheat. Here are the ones I think I can remember:
Nile turns to blood, frogs, gnats, hail, boils, darkness (I think but I'm not sure), some kind of death of all the livestock, locusts (I think - but again I'm not sure), frogs, death of the firstborn.
OK, I'll post that and then go and look them up to check.
Edit - OK, looked them up. It would have helped if I'd proof-read my answer and realised I'd put frogs twice! I know which one I missed out, but I won't post it here yet.

    I'd forgotten hail. :)

Gnats? I don't remember gnats. They might have been called something else, though, something gnat-like.

I did wonder about the darkness one too, but wasn't sure, so didn't put it!
I certainly can't remember any others, so will have to go and see now!

    Edit.....

Yes, for gnats, read bitey insects! That's what I had a vague memory of!

There was one I don't ever remember knowing! How strange!
