    Anti spam measures.

Do you have the capability to send feedback? Please tell them the 30 second limit on editing is too short. I post on a different forum where the edit limit is 10 minutes, and that's bad enough, but 30 seconds is silly.

Also, I see from the forum feedback board that they are imposing a time limit between reporting one post as spam and reporting another one. How can making reporting spam harder be an effective anti spam measure?

Finally, if you can, please ask them to announce big changes like this rather than just slide them in under the radar so everyone gets confused and upset when the site doesn't work the way it always has.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Don't worry it won't be here for long.

    Yes. Agreed.

Long story that can be explained elsewhere.

Yes, they are aware of the issue and it's problems.

The edit time limit seems to have been removed now.

I edited another post just now, 12 hours after I first posted it.

Edit. Yup it is ok now.
Edit .2. Just another little test.
    Edit 3. Phew!

Testing the repeat post time limit.

It's back to 60 seconds now, rather than two minutes. Phew!

    Thanks for explaining. :)
    Glad it's back to normal.

Just realised I forgot to watch Call the Midwife. Glad I set the series to record. Off to watch it now.

Oh, and I really did read those books. I started reading the second one, and felt distinctly disappointed by the regrettable behaviour of one of the "good guys" from the first book, and I remembered I'd felt that way last time too. Still no recollection of the plots, but then it was more than 20 years ago, and a human brain has limited storage capacity for plots of novels, I suppose. :)

On a totally unrelated matter, NPs with kindles may find googling 100 Eternal Masterpieces of Literature - volume 1 Kindle Edition to be rewarding.

Oh and as for arming teachers, no. We all have to brief the students on what to do if there's an incident.

Talking of PN, I hope you're ok, Pastures?
Been thinking of you and wondering if there's been any progress with a referral?
