Would be great if you could keep both ideas in your signature. Can't you just have both separated by a line? We know they are linked, but everyone reading doesn't automatically know or need to know.

A facebook friend posted that she bet no one had ever heard of Ehlers Danlos Hypermobility, and I was able to comment that I knew about thanks to Sue's sig.

I on the other hand have a long tedious sig. :o

I have had people send me messages re EDS and I have tried to help them but it is such a wide ranging thing with so many different types, I haven't always been able to help especially as James is more Marfans/EDS crossover although they are now identifying it as as its own sub type away from EDS hypermobility.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I'm at work, the telly box has frozen and although I know exactly what to do (unplug it and then plug it back in), I can't do it as the plug sockets are too high and there are so many I could end up unplugging the CCTV by mistake and that is a massive no no.

    Most annoying.

I have been watching telly on the laptop but it's old and the internet is not the greatest.

I bought my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 inch cheap at the Argos store on eBay. They have a couple back on sale if anyone is intrrested. Got mine half off, refurbished, but good as new.

Family tree searching NPs. Has anyone else tried the new GRO service where you can order a PDF of a death certificate for £6.00. Not legally binding but a significant saving for family history purposes. I have just ordered the death certificate of my G grandfather. My first foray into such activities and suddenly affordable.

The issue is that I didn't know which one was for the box and as I am short and was precariously balanced on a foot stool, it could have turned out a little dangerous to keep trying to trace the wire back. Why the box couldn't have been like my Sky box with a cable you can take out of the back of the box I don't know but it was a non removable one.

Tomorrow I will take DVDs although the laptop settled down and I was able to get Iplayer...as long as I didn't try to look at anything else on the internet at the same time.

Must admit, when they watch the CCTV back, I can imagine them having a huge laugh at the sugar plum fairy (aka me) trying to balance on a foot stool using my crutch for stability (hmm, didn't work, it was too short) and them thinking "What the blooming Nora is she up to now!" :rotfl:

Could you start tracing the cable from the TV, then when it starts getting too high, jiggle it and see which cable by the plugs is jiggling?
    (Then label the plug).

    Who is watching the CCTV?

I would find it unnerving having CCTV inside my home.

To turn the TV on requires reaching up almost as far as I can. It's not the TV that is the problem but the Freeview type box attached to it....which is at the same level as the TV and even more of a reach to turn it on and off as I have to go on tippy toes and extend to my furthest reach (everything is at the same level, on top of a tall cabinet, high up on the wall with the sockets almost at ceiling level)

I tried the jiggling, all the cables go into a trunking like pipe and then to the sockets, so that didn't work either...it takes knowledge of which is which, unfortunately, knowledge I don't have.
