The four ripen at home avocados are what I buy. They aren't very big. My favourite way to eat them is in an avocado and ementhal toastie, which also contains tobasco, mayo and black pepper. Nom nom nom..

How do I find out if my car is front-wheel or rear-wheel drive?

The lazy answer is that if it is German it is likely to be rear wheel drive, otherwise not.

OH's BMW is hopeless in the snow, in fact that was one of the reasons for keeping the Aygo all the time DS2 was away at uni. This winter will be the first one for a few years without it.

  • Hi all! Inner hertsian here joining for the first time. What are you all doing here? Is it just about randomness or a safe place to rock in the corner after posting on the main forum? Looking forward to learning more

Wha are we doing here? I often ask myself that!
Randomly safe rocking? Yup! Just about sums it up!

But I'm only a toddler on this thread........ best ask one of the grown-ups!

Only if it comes from a Bavarian or Stuttgart-based company.
Audis and VWs are mostly, if not all, FWD.

Hello lildoonbuggy, welcome to the Nice People Thread.

I guess we're all here for slightly different reasons...

I'm here for friendship and support and to have fun with people who I have come to like over the time I've been here. So maybe part of it is randomness, at least when you first join the thread.

    Best wishes from Liverpool. :)

  • Thanks Pyxis, ukmaggie45 and silvercar! Youve certainly carved out a nice little space here. Always happy to get in on some positivity.

Yes silvercar, big mushroom fan. Though never foraged, which is something I'd like to do. To be honest there's not that much I don't like or wouldn't like to do!

You should be just fine here with PasturesNew who is a kindred spirit.

Good to have someone else from Inner Herts :)
    I think....

I can get a bag of five doughnuts for 65p if I want a treat! :)

If you give up processed food then you could afford avocados.
