    How do I find out if my car is front-wheel or rear-wheel drive?

    The lazy answer is that if it is German it is likely to be rear wheel drive, otherwise not.

    OH's BMW is hopeless in the snow, in fact that was one of the reasons for keeping the Aygo all the time DS2 was away at uni. This winter will be the first one for a few years without it.

    Only if it comes from a Bavarian or Stuttgart-based company.
    Audis and VWs are mostly, if not all, FWD.

    I guess we're all here for slightly different reasons...

    I'm here for friendship and support and to have fun with people who I have come to like over the time I've been here. So maybe part of it is randomness, at least when you first join the thread.

    Yes silvercar, big mushroom fan. Though never foraged, which is something I'd like to do. To be honest there's not that much I don't like or wouldn't like to do!
