I do that with the dogs, worry - one bark and they come inside. And when I go out I bungee cord all but one rooms' door handles together so they can't go in and bark in the living room

Hehe, that reminds me of some friends who refitted all their internal door handles upside down - because their Jack Russell had found that if he jumped correctly he could pull a door handle down with his mouth whilst his weight and forward momentum would push the door open :rotfl:

Bloke at the top of my tree turns out to be a Rev. Hadn't looked higher up than the bloke who lost his head before as it "seemed pointless/fruitless" to even look.

    Mine's got a couple of Bishops;
One was the first Anglican Bishop of Liverpool, a real fire and brimstone form of preacher, which earned him the epithet "The Thunderer".

The other, his son, was successively Bishop of Exeter, Bishop of Winchester and Dean of Westminster.

In that latter post he was involved in the planning for King George V's coronation and was the dean at the wedding of Prince Albert Duke of York (later King George VI) to Elizabeth Bowes-Lyons. He supported the proposal of the newly created BBC to record and broadcast the ceremony on radio but the Chapter vetoed it.

In addition he was instrumental in the installation of The Tomb of the Unknown Warrior, including composing the inscription on it.

We had to change every single one of our handles to knobs!

I lock our dogs on the detached side of the house too, like bugslet, so they don't bark directly against the party wall.
Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I feel very guilty about how disturbing our kids (and my DW) are to our neighbours. And doubly so because we have a baseball hoop on our drive out front which results in lots of doofing, screaming/shouting and occasionally the ball going into our neighbours front gardens on both sides....

I wouldn't worry too much. I am sure that you and your family are wonderful neighbours in other respects.

And, looking on the bright side, your neighbours are far less likely to get broken into because your kids are playing in front of the house.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Broken into - yes, windows broken...not so sure!

We have a really good security light so they can play long after dusk too ;)
    I think....

I don't believe I mentioned, let alone dropped, their names, but I wouldn't need to - judging by your past sleuthing record I reckon it'd take you about 5 seconds to identify at least one of them :p

Yes, that was an easy start point.
I didn't bother because .... sometimes I get interested and sometimes not. :)

I was intrigued by the concept of three sisters' diaries being written/retained as my motivator to being very interested over the weekend.

Unless you say something intriguing about somebody .... I don't pick up the baton and run with it. e.g. disappearing people ... or strange imprisonments ... or diaries published ... just something "a bit more than the norm" - "the norm" is just some random names/dates otherwise, in the most part.
