Still feels really strange talking about all this stuff happening to me rather than someone else.

Stuff like that is only "meant" to happen to "other people" isn't it? Hoping for the best for everything that's part of it.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

I heard an hour long interview with a top British female Doc who spent the entire interview saying how cutting all dairy from the diets of her 100 patients with cancer, meant most recovered (she said).

I have no idea whether she's correct, but just wanted to mention this. She said something along lines of Chinese people not being so susceptible to certain cancers due to absence of dairy.

She also said routine fasting made a difference as it put the cells in 'alert survival mode' implying this made one more resilient.

Sorry I cant find the interview and don't know if it covered breast cancer. This was on Radio 4 a few years back.

I will read up more - though I suspect I might disagree with methodologies etc.

But I do love that Prof Plant is advocating cutting out animal products :)

google 'book seating alcove' and some interesting stuff appears, though you may need to be quite mobile to climb on board some ideas.

Lovely - I enjoyed looking at those, although I agree that some are more suitable than others for a nonagenarian with two replaced knees!

Brilliant results Doozer and Lydia. My niece also picked hers up today and it has given her a huge confidence boost as she was absolutely convinced she had Us in every single one...she's now off to 6th form for A levels.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Good that you still have your sense of humour!

Nothing useful to say, really. My aunt had a mastectomy and lived to enjoy her 100th birthday. Commiserations on the bad news and having to endure the horrible treatment, as well as cutting off your beautiful hair, particularly as it sounds like there was some misdiagnosis along the way. :(
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Well, there won't be a pair much longer either. And they're certainly not a pretty sight.
