PN, in some blocks the ground floor flats are excluded from the lift maintenance. Do check sound levels, you don't want to be disturbed everytime someone uses the lift or starts walking up the stairs.
I've wasted most of the day getting my phone replaced, it suddenly decided that it was too hot and couldn't work in this heat! Luckily it was under warranty so Apple have replaced it, sadly they keep a few older models around for this reason, so no free upgrade.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Judging by activity in the field here at Bwlchtocyn my guess is people with kids are just going home now ready for school. I imagine that's the case in a lot of places. Been staying with Grandparents or other rellies.
So maybe when these folks get home they'll be thinking more about the selling their house that they put off as Christmas and New Year were coming up, and who wants to keep their home pristine over those holidays!
I'm sure more houses will be listed soon. The only alerts I've had on Right Move the last couple of weeks (not trying to buy or sell, but like to keep up with local listings) have been reductions in price rather than new listings. Well, one was a "new listing" but it was just new with a different agent.
Hope you find some places to inspect soon Pastures. Best wishes from Bwlchtocyn!

This isn't good at all
Did this keyboard come with some software to configure it? If not, the following may help.

If it's any consolation, Pastures, we lived in a rented house for a while, with a huge light fitting over the dining table. I kept on hitting my head on it. It took me two months of hitting my head most days to learn (the hard way) not to. I'm sure that you'll be more adaptable.
You know that you can just prise off the key cap with a [STRIKE]screwdriver[/STRIKE] nail file?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
We seem to be hard on keyboards and go through quite a few. They all seem to have the same layout. Mind you, I buy them, and I always buy the ones with a separate numbers pad. That may be more standardised. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

I'm not heavy handed, very light on the keyboard. I think most of the letters etc rubbed off my old keyboard 8+ years ago; couldn't really be precise because, as I say, I don't ever look at the keyboard. As I'm typing this I'm reading the screen as it appears, it's dark here and I'm lying down in bed. The keyboard is about 12" away on a laptray (for stability).
It's like driving; you don't look down at the gearstick every time you change gear, nor look for the handbrake. Nor do you look for the controls to turn the lights on/off or indicators. You do it in the dark too ... because you know where everything is.0 -

The answer would have been to attach a piece of string or ribbon to the fitting so it hangs down below eye level.

Commonly known as user error!
You will adjust, subconciously you will start checking as you type and then it will become automatic.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
