Ok, I misunderstood your point.
Word of advice to all, if buying internationally it is best to stick with a reliable retailer - such as Amazon. Do not buy directly if avoidable. This way you have some protection.
I had a long established relationship with a chinese company that supplied me stock until i had to give up that part of my business due to health reason, even visited him a various occasions0 -

Its a "virtual office" - a glorified PO box. I warn about scam companies using these often enough. But its still a UK address therefore they're still technically a UK company (and subject to UK laws).
Thats why amazon dont need to comply with UK law - because they dont have a presence here in the UK so are not a UK company.You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
