Disgruntled Ulster Bank customers might look at Ford Flexible Saver. Rate increased from 1.07% to 1.12% today:)
You can get 1.11% on a Tesco Bank Internet Saver. Instant access.
The Tesco Internet Saver has the bonus that you can generate DDs to pull into the account from current accounts, so probably beats the Ford Flexible Saver at 0.01% more.

Both the Ford Flexible Saver and Tesco Internet Saver are variable rate, but Tesco's includes a 'bonus' of 0.71% for 12 months. Ford have changed their variable rate twice in the short history of the account - both changes were an increase in the rate. So for longer than a year, I'd probably go with Ford, though I don't personally keep more than a few £ in any of those accounts for more than a couple of days;)
You got me on the DD benefit0 -
For those interested I received my card and pin today (two separate bits of post) after 20 days - just waiting the reader but understand I can use any old reader worst case.
I've also sent money to and from the account via the app on different days without problem.0 -

If you've got your Customer Number then you should be able to log in to their internet banking where your account details will be listed. Once there click on 'Security' on the left hand side and then 'order a card reader.' This automatically orders you a card and pin number as well as the reader.
You need an activation code, which of course I do not have, so therefore internet banking is not available. Like everything else with this account, nothing is available. All I have is my account number and sort code on a piece of paper. Not going to even attempt to transfer money till I can at least log in to check that it is received on the other end!0 -
Will be withdrawing my money from this account as soon as the card reader thing turns up. Seems an archaic way to run an account these days. The only way you can get your money out? And you have to request the reader? Why don't they just send it out?
Its a big no from me.0 -
I will also close as soon as I get the card reader etc - maybe I should say IF I get the card reader etc. Card reader etc ordered 23 July. No sign. I rang them and they say that it should come within 7-10 working days. I can only get £250 a time using the mobile phone app. Otherwise no access to my account since 20 July. I could however WRITE A LETTER requesting a one off payment. Words fail me....AVOID ULSTER BANK0
