In researching my family tree. I got back to the 16th century but failed miserably to find who my paternal great grandfather was. My paternal GFs birth certificate is blank when it comes to father's name. My dad's youngest sister was born a couple of years after his father was killed in in WW1 and so far I have not found out who her father was. My GM never remarried.0 -

I got a relative to test his dna in the hope of breaking down a similar brickwall but he hasn't had any close matches yet.0
