Unfortunately my written word has a habit of coming across a lot more aggressive than what happened in reality, I can see from reading what I said, it can easily look like I went in there all guns blazing, with a really negative attitude, me taking my frustration out on the adviser, but that really was not the case at all.
I've deleted my previous post as it was written when I was extremely angry and stressed about my situation, I suffer from depression and I really hope no one else ever feels like I do some days. When people are (understandably from my other posts) basically accusing me of abusing someone who is only doing their job, well on a normal day I would have laughed it off and simply said they were wrong, unfortunately, my state of mind at that time was anything but normal.
The day in question, I was quite upbeat, by the time I had left the job centre interview, well to say I was stressed is an understatement.
I was extremely stressed when I walked out of the job centre interview, but I remained polite, the reason I walked out is that I didn't want to take my frustration out on the lady interviewing me,
if you knew how stressed I was, for me to keep it together to politely say that we are getting no where and walk out, well you would realise that was a big thing. Then to be accused of having a go at her, well I kind of snapped in my deleted reply, which I apologise for.
When dealing with people who are simply doing their job, I always try to remain as polite as possible whether on the phone or face to face.
If there had been a video of this interview and you watched it, I can assure you, you would have a different opinion, I bent over backwards at first to have a constructive meeting, and was faced with someone that to put it bluntly, whether she was having a bad hair day or whatever, had a very bad attitude.
Again I had spoken to other staff there and had other meetings in the preceding days/weeks, some of which I wasn't really happy with the outcome, but both sides remained very very polite and friendly to each other.
While I don't like to judge people on appearances, I do in hindsight agree with my wife when she said "she had one of those faces, I just knew she was going to be grumpy"
Just to update you in case anyone's still interested.
I phoned up UC on the following Monday and told them we were both stopping our claim as of now. There was no point continuing with it as everyone we asked said we would get £0 with the hours my wife works etc.
After I had done so, I logged into both of our accounts to leave a message saying about us cancelling our application, only to see a message added to my wifes account about 10 mins before saying that her Monday appointment had been cancelled and was now rescheduled to Wednesday.
As said many times, my wife is self employed. She had already worked late on Friday and started really early on Monday (and was working late Tuesday) to fit her clients in so that she could attend the meeting on Monday.
To have it cancelled after she had left for work, and now expect her to do the same on Wednesday morning, well this just confirmed to us both that the whole UC thing is a joke, and there's little point in her taking all that time off, working all those extra hours, moving people around, only to get nothing anyway.
All our creditors on our DMP have accepted £1 with no interest for the next 3 - 6 months. The way things are going, soon we are all going to be victims of something or other.

I have written a detailed, easy to read appeal that I sat on for a few days before posting, re-wrote many times, got my daughter and friend to read it etc, it was a massive 16 pages long, but it was written in a easy to read way and was simply going over every point the medical examiner made in her (much longer than 16 page) report, where I put what the medical examiner said in red, and what I'm actually like in black (some of her findings I agreed with, many I didn't, I did stress I didn't think she was outright lying, just that she was making wrong assumptions).
My GP read the letter, then wrote an accompanying two page letter which she both says that I recently had an MRI of my spine which is abnormal, and that she has referred me to a neurologist.
Her conclusion to her letter wasHe also suffers from depression and is on many medications. Please see attached medication list
Everything that this gentleman has put in writing seems to be realistic and I cannot see any reason this should not be taken into account with his current situation.
Therefore I would like to confirm that this gentleman is not able to work at the moment and in my opinion his situation should be reviewed
She also included a copy of a report from my hospital consultant dated 8th June 2017 where he says the maximum my knee bends is 95 degrees.
Which backs up where I said in my appeal letter that had the medical examiner actually measured my knee, she would know it couldn't bend to the 120 degrees she said it could in her report.
I will let you know when the DWP finally get back to me.The way things are going, soon we are all going to be victims of something or other.

Hehe no they haven't. I didn't think I needed to explain in that particular post that I wasn't currently working, it was a simple point about me always having to wear a shirt, jacket and tie wherever I've worked, whereas most of the women wore (while smart) whatever they want.
I hate ties and don't feel comfortable in them. Will always wear one if required, but wish at some point in the past, fashion didn't dictate this was the norm for men to wear in business.
People complain that my threads are too long, and when I make a short one, i then have to explain myselfThe way things are going, soon we are all going to be victims of something or other.
