I noticed this too concerning Euratom and Brexit, with the UK holding quantities of radioactive waste from other EU countries:Britain has put the EU on notice that it has the right to return radioactive waste to the bloc after it leaves, in an attempt to increase the UK’s negotiating clout on the vexed issue of nuclear regulation.
(If you can't read it search "UK issues coded warning to Brussels over nuclear waste" to find readable content.)

Why does saving need an incentive? A working lifetime only lasts so long. How one chooses to use the money earnt is a personal one.0 -

Indeed...
UK is 'flirting with recession'"It is worth noting that we forecasted a recession in the UK in the aftermath of the EU referendum last year. The recession didn’t materialize as consumer spending held up better than expected, albeit only thanks to a massive drop in the saving rate," the analysts write.
However, many of the negatives around the economy that could end up causing a recession persist in "haunting" Britain

So this weeks Brexit negotiations are over.
Here is a link to most (18 minutes) of the press conference but only has two journalists questions included. Normally that can be the "fun" part.

I find it very depressing. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
GENEVA, July 20 (Reuters) - Britain wants a new round of global trade liberalisation at the World Trade Organization (WTO), Trade Minister Liam Fox will say in a speech in Geneva on Thursday, according to an advance draft text seen by Reuters.
Fox will also say that Britain sees the agenda of global trade being shaped by the digital economy, trade promotion as the main tool of development, and services.
Britain wants to see a "positive outcome" on the digital economy at the WTO's two-yearly ministerial conference in Buenos Aires in December, according to the draft. (Reporting by Tom Miles; Editing by Gareth Jones)

Liam Fox will be in Washington on July 24 and 25 for an initial meeting of a bilateral working trade and investment group.
“The early discussions will focus on laying the groundwork for commercial continuity for U.S. and U.K. businesses as the U.K. leaves the EU and exploring possible ways to strengthen trade and commercial ties, consistent with the EU’s common commercial policy,” a U.S. trade official said. “These discussions will also provide a mechanism for preparing the ground for a potential future trade agreement once the U.K. leaves the EU.”Fox is expected to shed more light on the U.K.’s future trade plans with both the U.S. and the EU when he speaks Monday morning at the American Enterprise Institute.
