  • Just thought I'd add my bit to this, as I've just been had by these Chinese rip-off merchants.
Order North Face Trainers........ 2 pairs of shocking fake raybans turned up!!! The best they can offer me is 20% and I can keep the glasses 😎😎😂😂. I know it's ONLY £50 of my hard earnt money but hell now after reading this forum I'm thinking of accepting it. My fighting has run out this week after loosing Mum to Alzheimer's on Tues 😭
  • I also cannot get a return address but it also looks as if returning will cost a lot.
I recently ordered for the first time from NewChic as they has some items which looked really nice. They took almost a month to arrive and the response to my queries in that time was unhelpful. On receipt, they turned out to be badly sized and were too small - I am a standard 14 and do not usually have a problem! On investigating their returns procedure, i realised it was a no go. The alternative was a 20% discount off my next purchase - there will never be a next purchase. I would warn people to be wary of buying from this company.

There's something about the name of the company itself that (to me) suggests it's a scammy site - let alone the fact it's on Facebook. Why on earth people who are probably quite intelligent and aware, allow themselves to be ripped off like this is beyond me.

They have the nouse to find this forum, register to complain about being ripped off yet don't do their homework before parting with their hard-earned.

I made the same point on another thread but was told I was being unkind  and that not everyone has the time to check out a company they are ordering from.
    Not very :money:

Agree totally the name sounds shabby
  • Actually I saw their advert on the BBC Good Food website as I was looking for a recipe. (fennel and courgette salad) Had a look and saw nice boots. Have now read about new chic and decided not to buy from them after seeing these posts and others, But the boots are available through Amazon so have bought them there!
  • Just received a dress from them.....this thread had me worried before it arrived!
It is exactly like the picture, material is lovely and the fit exactly as it should be. I am a very pleased customer.

It's good that someone got what they wanted.

Doesn't seem a very reliable outfit, though.
