Paint before or after?

I'm having fitted wardrobes installed next week.

Is it a better idea to paint the walls/woodwork before or after?

I'd suggest painting beforehand, but keeping a bit of paint for touch-ups of any knocks caused during fitting.

It's quick enough to roller over an uncluttered wall and if you ever remove the wardrobe, you wouldn't get that yuk factor of odd-coloured walls & it'd be easier to touch in until you were ready to paint the whole room again.

I would definitely do it before too!
