Hope you’re house seeks quickly MB. Do make sure when you are ‘doing things to sell’ they really are things that are going to add value or are really needed and not just for aesthetics reasons, if you’ve furniture in when people are looking around you’d be surprised how much gets over looked!
Sound advice @PurpleFairy26. There are big projects that need doing... E.g. Could probably do with a new kitchen and bathroom and even new windows. But the cost of that we'd never make back and in fact we'd not be able to pay it off in one go and would require taking out credit... So realistically that isn't going to happen.

Our intention is to mainly freshen up everywhere. Declutter and make it presentable. In fact it may go on the market a little lower than others similar and nearby but this could mean it'll be more sellable 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ (I hope 😂).

This particular house I like won't require a huge deposit and we've got potential for a £45k profit on our house and that's a a reduced selling price

I think you're doing the right thing cracking on and selling at a lower price with work to do. I'm sure the kitchen is totally fine.
Great work on debt payments! Are you paying minimums? I'm just wondering if you could change it up a bit so you could clear the smaller ones and have fewer debtors on the mortgage application? Keep going! Xxx

    Hi Kitten,

I pay the minimum on them all except the hsbc which I throw most of the money at. (the only other small exception is the tesco loan which I've rounded up to £230 a month). Got £400 to go towards the HSBC tomorrow and then another £56 once the Hmrc cheque clears. The latter may take a while as the bank wasn't open yesterday morning. Good thing I have some annual leave coming up. This, along with extra from over time, will hopefully mean by September it'll be paid off which is a month earlier than originally predicted in my calculations.

Yesterday I started the redocorating etc. The kitchen is the first room to get the spruce. Not been decorated since 2013!! Wow I'm aching today though... Got more to do as well as cutting the front hedge seeing as today looks like a dry day for once!

Who do you bank with? Can you pay in cheque via the app so you don’t have to go in to a bank?

Oh wow... Never knew that was a thing. So rarely get cheques. But yeah my bank allows me to deposit it online. Thanks 😊

This is very easy overtime which is why it's so tempting. I don't get much opportunity to do it. But I do get where you're coming from. I am feeling s little tired as I've had 1 day off since March so far. It's been manic. Less than a week until 2 weeks leave though 😊
