Just a couple of thoughts mummy-bear.

Do you have a 'home start' in your area. I'm not entirely sure if it's a local authority/ nhs thing or a charity, but they provide parenting support to families for a few hours each week. Sometimes it's for people who are struggling at parenting, but my friend got 18months worth of support because she had twins. Just an extra pair of hands. In our area the local sling swing class (a dance class where baby goes in the sling while you safely have a boogie) allows twin parents to bring someone else for free if you don't want to tandem wear the babies.
Also local colleges may need placement families for childcare students worth enquiringly about.

    Have a good day
    Wish.

    Will certainly look into this.
I mean I do have eager family willing to help but I often struggle with asking or accepting help...

Which is why at 32 weeks pregnant with twins I've been cutting the grass and also moving furniture round DD bedroom!! I really should just relax and let others help

I'm exhausted. No amount of sleep is helping. The heat is killing me too! Nearly 34 weeks pregnant and still going to work!! I seriously need to rethink this as it's getting harder to remain focused and motivated. But my replacement is only starting today and I have to train him!

not got time to do a full update at the moment so some figures are out of date - will try to update further later.

I've got 3 things on sale now. Will try and get more up this weekend.

Earn £80 payable from survey sites £50/£80

The £50 from Yougov dropped into my account. Promptly been used to buy baby bath supports and other little bits for the Twins.

Been slacking on the survey front though in general

VO is now up to £6.10
PA currently has £8.42 payable and £3.85 pending.
Onepoll currently has £16.15 in there.
Yougov currently has 300 points in there.
E.Rewards currently has 3775 points in there.
    Qmee has £6.94 in there

    Reduce debt by £850 £944.64/ £850 :T:T

I've given up my compost fund - it's taking forever to reach. I'm going to assess whether I can pay it outright without having to save.

Food budget looks like this £57/£250.

Really hoping to keep to the food budget this month and intend to raid the freezers and eat more of what we actually have in

I've come to accept that I will not be able to update this diary as much as I'd like. Be that as it may debt busting is at the forefront of our minds always so that is all good.

I've finally finished work. Consultant basically told me to stop. My feet are swollen and I've developed Obstetric Cholestasis. I'm on meds for that but the itching is still constant :(
Regular weekly blood tests and talks of induction around 37 weeks. I'm 34+5 weeks today! Scary thought.

Anyway This diary is now a year old. In some ways it's sad because had circumstances been different we would've chipped a bigger chunk off the debt than what we actually have. However, on a positive, we do have less debt than a year ago regardless.

    £6531.23/£37139.86 17.58% paid

I'm excited for what the next 12 months have in store. The next 12 months will be strictly budgeted due to me being on Maternity Leave but I love the idea of the challenge to maybe get 10k off our debt in that time. To get in the region of 20k outstanding debt by my 2 year anniversary would be fantastic... as long as there are no other hiccups along the way!!!

This month I'm taking a back seat on this as I won't have time. I'm probably having the twins this month so not putting pressure on myself in these challenges.

36 weeks pregnant today! Can't believe my body has managed this far with two on board!

Had a mini scare last Monday though. Had a consultant appointment and scan and everything went fine. The afterwards blood pressure and urine check only to find BP was high and protein in urine....this resulted in hours in Maternity triage on the monitor. Thankfully BP came down and blood results ruled out Pre Eclampsia so I was allowed home. I was not mentally prepared for an early delivery!

However, I have now been given a date for induction - 22nd June.. as long as they don't decide to come early. I'm both apprehensive and excited.
