    Thanks for reading, love having visitors. Glad you're inspired, it's weird to think I can inspire though. I don't know why. Maybe because I /we've made so many stupid decisions that have led to this debt that I worry that I don't deserve to inspire :o Not sure if that even makes sense.

    PA is prolific academy. A survey site. They're academic surveys in the main so they're often from Universities. They pay reasonably well for the time you out into them. However I joined weeks ago, completed the lengthy presceening questions but got no surveys. Then less than a week ago I got one and had a steady stream since. Hoping this continues :D

    Your determination and the fact that you're facing up to and doing something about your debt is what has inspired me.... I think we'd all agree that we've made stupid decisions that have got us in the positions that we are in.
    So glad I found your thread and look forward to reading your posts x

    Hope you have some luck with this. Just keep checking back and refreshing it. I've probably had like 2 emails to tell me about a survey.

    I'm up to £37 payable.

    Really need to cash out

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Day off today. Lots planned. Nothing fun though :rotfl:
    1) Need to drop off prescriptions
    2) package all eBay sales - managed to sell 4 lots for a total profit of ..... £2 :rotfl:
    3) post all eBay packages
    4) grocery shopping. ...with the kids :eek:
    5) put more items on eBay
    6) prep tea...Homemade tuna burgers and homemade wedges
    This is usually the quiet time of the month for debt busting. 11 days from pay day. I've found myself getting almost restless during these days. Puts PADing on hold a little.
    I have got a nice pot of money in my PA account. However, in light of my ceiling issue I'll be putting the money towards that instead of a debt. It upsets me that I can't pay off more or even put it in the annual bills account BUT it is still a win because we're not actually adding to the debt :T
    DH has rejected 1st offer from bike insurance company. He's right. They offered £1500 under retail for bikes of same model, mileage and service history. We'll see what they'll come back with.
    One thing he did find out was that apparently you can't insure 2 motorbikes and use your no claims bonus for both. ..he had to pick one of them. No doubt that was in the small print that never gets read.:o
    I have joined the make £10 a day in August thread. I've opted to try and earn £3 a day. Partly because I need to see what my earning potential can be but also because we go on holiday on the 21st and I suspect there'll be no WIFI / mobile Internet where we're going so it'll slow down my earning. So that kinda means that I need to earn as close to £93 before the 21st August.
    Well. ....so far I've earned £23/£93 :j:T
    This is from PA surveys that have been approved for payout
    VO surveys
    Ebay sales
    Very happy with this and it's only the 4th
    Managed to get out of paying into brew fund at work...only £2 every month or so. Not a big deal really. But I try to avoid withdrawing cash just to break into it for change. The rest would literally get wasted. Anyway, the guy running the brew fund offered to pay me to type something up for him :rotfl: he hates typing, he's slow at it and literally has no attention span. I suggested that maybe I skip paying this month, he jumped at the offer :rotfl::rotfl: gotta save money where you can.
    On the back of that another colleague asked me to help him out too....love having fast typing skills....we agreed on a bottle of wine. Again saves me buying one :beer:
    I find it hilarious that I'm selling my skills at work :rotfl:
    Right must be off.
    Morning
    Another busy day planned in prep for the sorting of bedroom ceiling tomorrow.
    Discovered that Daddy bear (DH) hadn't removed card details from PS4 as it won't let him remove it. It has to have a card attached to it. This has meant that when he was browsing the ps4 store on his phone...a phone thats pretty much on its last legs due to the touch screen not working properly....he's managed to purchase £100 worth of games inadvertently :mad::mad: he didn't even want the games, will never play them ...and getting a refund is not a simple process. Oh I could swear so much right now :mad::mad:
    On a more positive note daddy bear has accepted an offer from insurance company. However, it'll likely be a couple of weeks before payout as we need to send them keys and other docs. We'll pay recorded delivery as I'm not having them claim to have not received it. That can pay for his ps4 purchases as well as pay off other debts.
    Cashed out £37.50 from PA via circle. Can take up to 5 days to complete so I'm hoping there's no issues. Have about £8 awaiting approval too
    Oooo thanks for info re. Circle.
    Strangely since requesting a cash out the surveys have slowed.
    Not much to report on the debt busting front.
    But I can announce that my bedroom ceiling is finally sorted :j:j
    Can finally redecorate the room for the first time in 10 years.
    Right, off to have a :coffee: and a DFW diary catch up before work
  • YAy to the bedroom ceiling being sorted.
    A question (if that's ok?) am I better getting my pa payout through circle rather than PayPal (waiting until £20)? If so, why?
    Thank you.
    From what I gather PayPal will now take a percentage of what you cash out regardless of what the amount is. However, circle don't as long as it's over £20.
    Earned enough on valued opinions for another voucher, gone for the love2shop e-voucher again. That's £30 earned in 8 weeks :j
    Had 80p approved from PA. Got about £8 awaiting approval.
