I am not sure what to put in the poll as mine arrived exactly on the date-but was induced because I had pre-eclampsia (and they had just realised even though I had been telling them I wasn't feeling right and worried for weeks! )

All 3 of my darlings have been 14+ days late and induced.
I guess I just made it too comfy in there for them!!!

First was two weeks late (and two days in labour!!!)

Same here. I got extremely bored and frustrated and tried all the usual remedies to bring on labour but none of them worked and by the time she was born I was absolutely exhausted. I did lose 2 stone whilst pregnant though which I have never been able to do since.

My second was just a couple of days late but he was absolutely huge so I can't imagine how big he would have gotten if I had gone 2 weeks with him too.

Do you think some of this is down to people getting dates wrong?

dd was sort of on time, due date after 1st scan was 27th oct, and after 2nd scan was 24th oct, she came on the 27th, so she was born on a due date but not the right one!! and 36hrs of labour by the way. (with just gas and air)
  • Both my two were born the DAY BEFORE their due dates ( and both on a Tuesday strangely enough). On both occasions I went into labour on the Monday at around 4.00pm and went to hospital at 7.30pm.....

    Good luck with the baby.......
