essentially it's "yes" to all your comments although I'm uncertain how helpful those points you are making are to strengthening my case?
    That's kinda my point.

What has the clutch/flywheel got to do with the aircon?
I don't know. Perhaps the flywheel operating correctly should enable the alternator to maintain a constant voltage.
If they dont have a courtesy car for you then take it elsewhere? Its a wear and tear item so probably cheaper to do that anyway.
. I'm not allowed to get my car serviced or repaired elsewhere in terms of contact unfortunately. If I could go to Mr clutch etc then there would be no problems. It is not wear and tear but a manufacturing defect.

Too late for riddles for me. Can you be more clear? What's your point.

    participating retailers only.
No I did not realise I wasn't buying from vw directly. My finance contract is with vw directly.
That could be a bad point in my case.
Can anyone confirm if motorline is or is not officially participating?

Are Motorline part of the "network of authorised Volkswagen Repairers " that this offer applies to?

A search on the VW website confirms that the Motorline Gatwick is both a participating retailer AND and Authorised Repairer - so thats good. Case back on!

I would check that they were at the time of the advert. They are now but were they a few years ago? It's best to find out.

At the heart of the air conditioning unit of a car is the compressor that pressurizes the refrigerant and pumps it through the A/C system. It derives its power directly from the engine flywheel and, in a similar way to the drive chain of the car, a clutch controls its operation. These two parts are the hardest working components in a vehicle's A/C system, and maintaining them in good working order is essential to its efficiency.
