    Hi ladies

I have to say i have been a fan of this thread for a long time and finally had and excuse to make one for a expectant best friend, ended up selling a few to people at the party and word has spread so i'm going to try my luck at selling them - saw a post today for a craft fair, booked myself a table and now realise i have nothing ready - PANIC!!!!

you have totally inspired me, but so far i'm excited to see how they go but scared too!

Just back from town & I spotted some of the 'sundae' glasses in the £stretcher (plastic ones) & scooped them up cos I had a vague notion that they were to be bought if seen cheaply!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Haven't the foggiest what I'm gonna do with em now though  crazy purchasing going on these days!!! Anyway they also had lovely coloured plastic ice cream spoons so some will be used in 'ice-cream' themed hampers for peeps with summer birthdays!!

Off to search & see what they are used for for 'baby' gifts and have a play!! not a conscious thought in my head earlier so slightly worrying! seriously my house is full to bursting with 'baby' stuff - its managed to seep into every room in the house and my OH is getting decidedly 'miffy' with me - saying I haven't got a single room... blah blah blah :rotfl:I just tell him he's got the shed what more does he want LOL!! :rotfl:

Thank god .... my mate is well happy with the cowboy cake :D
I added some red, blue and yellow sock roses, which I think made a big difference.

Chatty, I soooo love your sock monkeys. especially the white ones and the spotty one. Looks like he's got measles. :rotfl:

Code, it was me with the blanket folding! Afraid I havn't mastered folding the oblong ones either. I fold some in a straight line and wrap around and overlap at the side (front) and fasten with a bow or I fold a bit of each side to make it square and try that way but it's not very good. You usually end up getting a thicker bit of blanket somewhere.

Popkins - that so made me laugh! After all, that's what sheds are for arn't they? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Me too, got stuff everywhere and still keep getting more.

morning ladies feel like i have'nt been to bed, dd came up last night to wrap and omg did i need her help, she said she would try and get to meeting after work to help but i told her not to bother, well the house looks like a bomb has hit it ! think we got 11 cakes done , seem to have lost camera to take photos,
the guy said they are expecting 2,500 people tonight, is that a lot, the way i am looking at it is if we went to races it would be £15 each so this way by taking a stall we £10 in profit and what i make will go on stock for the big weekend event.
regards oblong blankets i used elastic in top and bottom and pulled them in wish i could find the camera, no doubt it will try up in one of the cakes
    bye
    must get on
