  • Just wondering if anyone could advise me? I'm planning to make a baby cake for a friend. I'm thinking 3 tier. Roughly how tall are they once they're made? I don't have any nappies to play at the mo.

She's going to be a first time mum, so if anyone has any ideas of little bits for her that would be great. Hopefully be posting a nice picture of one on here before too long!

Getting nervous and excited about the baby fair tomorrow. Iv'e still got loads to do but can't get much done until ds at preschool this pm, having 5 mins while he eats his lunch. It doesn't help that i also have 4 birthdays this weekend to make cards, buy and wrap presents for. This is my list of items i am taking

    3 x 1 tier blue, pink, yellow
    3 x 3 tier blue, pink, yellow
3 x mini cakes blue, pink, yellow
    2 x bath time cakes
    14 muffins
    6 cupcakes
8 baskets 2 are bath time ones
10 winnie the pooh photo frames
    10 various teddies
    24 handmade cards

is that enough? i have got to go into town buy presents come back home and put inserts in all the cards and put them in display bags, Put tags on everything and get everything downstairs. I am going to be shattered.

    Sounds good to me!!
Can I ask where you got your photo frames from? I got a load also and am trying to think of what to do with them. I managed to get mine for £1 each!!!
 Thanks to everybody in the crafting threads who inspired me to start my own business!!

Sounds like you have a good balance of stuff - what size table have you got - I had 6x4 and struggled to fit stuff on .... when I do my next one I would take a couple of boxes to put on the table to give some height.....good luck with it and all the birthdays etc - you have a busy weekend ahead!!!:rotfl:

Hi, just got back from B&M and noticed that they have a new stock of fleece blankets in, just like the previous 99p ones.
They have a different embroidery design than before and are selling at £1.49.
I only saw them in pink and blue ...... but there was an empty space where I'm hoping the cream ones could of been ????
    :j:j:j

Well, fetched the ribbons, so off to make up my 'dreaded' cake

I have just found out that one of the local Primary schools is having a Spring Fayre next Saturday. Phoned to see if they had a stall left but unfortunately no :( They did offer to put my leaflets out and I did suggest I put a cake along with them, just hope it will be looked after. I now need to decide which one to send.

They did offer to put my name down for their Christmas Fayre:eek::eek::rotfl:

Candy - can't wait to see your cake:D
