    hi
candy thanks for link will look soon, have got an order for a £40 cake from a friend that was at craft fair
its a leaving present from the girls at work , not sure
how much i should spend on items do you think £25 or
more? i have made a list and you can't get that much
    3 muslin cloths 3.50
    36 nappies 3.60 ( i always say 10p each)
    5 pr socks 3.00
talc , shampoo , soap i got it half price but need to charge full 4.00
    wine 3.00 (on offer)
that leaves £8 for a toy and some clothes not much
then they is the cello ribbon etc
HELP i need to get this right because we could get a few more orders from them
You can get 5 pairs of socks from tesco's for £2.50, I just use 2 pairs on a cake (4 roses). I also just use 1 vest, 1 babygro (Tesco's in white), 1 bib (Primark), 1 dummy, shampoo, baby bath (£1 each) and soap (pk 4 from poundland).
Were you planning on using all 3 muslin cloths? Why not just use the 1? then you will have 2 left for the next 2 cakes.
Have you seen the 'clothes' starter packs that have in Asda's?

Good evening all ..... had any success with your cake yet almond?

I am supposed to be assembling the dreaded 'cowboy cake' but decided that my huge pile of ironing needs to be got rid of first

Can't believe I forgot to go shopping for the ribbons today.
Spent last night cutting out some cardboard (clipart) cutouts.
I really dreading putting it all together ...... in fear of it looking totally crap!
The teddy is white, blue, red and yellow, so was hoping to add the red, blue and yellow spotty ribbon (fingers crossed they have it in stock) ...... do you think that this would be too much???

As it is supposed to be 'unisex' not sure whether to add the red blanket or stick to the white.

I've had long enough to sort this one out, can't believe I'm still indecisive

I've just come back from Home Bargins and noticed that they are selling 'Paint Rags' for 79p.
It consists of a plastic tub and made to look like a paint tin, with a metal handle and lid, with a baby's vest inside.
I only saw them in a lemon and green, but saw a lid on it's own in pink, so I guess they do them in at least 3 colours.
Might be something you could sell on your stalls.
Can you believe that someone is trying to sell these on ebay for £4.95 plus £2.50 postage :eek::eek:

I think red blanket ;) and I think once you put it all together it will look fine ;) Think the ribbons should look ok depending on where you put them if that makes sense? Can't wait to see it :D
