Also been setting up my blog - its only basic at the moment cos I really don't know what I'm doing with it!!! :D would love to be able to add some fancy 'background' stuff but think that might be a step tooo far!! If you'd like to take a look here it is http://butterfly-meadow.blogspot.com/

And for OP asking earlier about photo software my hubby went & got me Paintshop Pro at the weeked and so far so good its really simple to use & so have spent the morning erasing all the backgrounds from my photos!! :rotfl:

Kr15snw - Lovely cake, love piglet and your ribbons:D

Popkins - Lovely cakes, love you blue duck blanket and your pink spotty ribbon:D

I have an order for a pink cake but can't find a pink blanket anywhere. I have looked in Asda, Matalan, Primark, Sainsbury's and Dunelm with no luck.

    Any ideas please.

Popkins, your cakes look fab :D
Well done on your 'blog', I think it looks great as it is, without a fancy background
How come you are all finding such beautiful ribbons, my shops are useless, think I better have a search on line  getting a bit bored of gingham now.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments on cakes & Blog!! :D

Candy - I recently got some fab ribbons from Hobbycraft - all different designs & reduced to 49p a roll - got loads with butterflies on so that I can make up some 'standard/set' cakes for my new 'business' :D

One thing I wanted to ask everyone is - I've done all my cakes so far using the 'tube' method but I'm worried people will hold the cake at the top & it might fall out the bottom if the cellotape comes unstuck from the cakeboard a bit - am I doing it right?

Dear Julie H, Thanks for that link to the cupcake box store, the boxes are absolutely beautiful. I shall be buying from there me thinks once I have a bash at a cupcake and a rose. Thanks a lot for that.:j:j

    Hi Popkins

Try this for a blog background, I'm not very good with computers but have my own blog and used these for a background. Just follow the instructions and it really works.
