Hiya - do you mean the sort of meshy bow on the bunny cake? if you do its actually from Card Factory & I had it already - for wrapping pressies - it was 49p so not the cheapest way to do it but thought it really suited the cake so used it anyway! :D
  • yeah the meshy type ones
theres a lemon and a pink one
    they look really nice
will check out my card factory thanks:D

Popkins: I would leave the background of your blog plain. You're cakes etc are beautiful and colourful enough without a fancy background. If you made it fancy, it might look too busy and distract from the cakes.

PS Beautiful cakes from you all, as usual.

Thanks Sunny Saver - tbh I'd come to the same conclusion - ie. I think it looks best the way it is - tried a few others & as you say just looked too busy! So happy with it as is at the moment - will just add cakes, details of ingredients & prices as & when I 'bake' them!! :D

Threelittlepigs - the yellow ones are actually just yellow ribbon I tied in a bow & then I stuck on little yellow hearts that were covered in yellow sequins - from one of the cheapy pound shops - think they were 50p though!! Then the yellow heart around the teddies neck is actually a kiddies scrunchie thingy!! :D

just to let all you addicted nappy cake makers know, went into borders the bookshop yesterday and they are doing ALL the ribbons for half price (£1 for 2/3 meters). Apologies if this has been posted on here before. I was amazed at the colours and variations they had on offer. will definately be getting some later today. Not sure how this compares to market prices but personally I think borders is overpriced with the stationary. also some really cute baby cut outs made from cardboard that wud luk gud on those cakes, again half price. hope this helps someone as I know how tight things are at the mo.....

Ooooh not sure if I mentioned the price of the ribbons I got in Hobbycraft - 49p a roll - 3 metres on a roll - lots of different designs - really lovely - quite narrow but look good on top of wider florist ribbon iyswim - will prob try and make up a couple in the next few days if I get a mo to see what they look like HTH :D

    Hi

Just passed CC on the bus, there seems to be a half-price toy sale on. I didn't go on, so don't know if it's any good, plus I've not dipped my toe into Nappy Baking yet (despite Rusty Flange's tutorial), so probably wouldn't be a good judge anyway!!
