    Hi Kim_possible

The cupcakes I've done below I just used 4 pairs of asda white socks for a box of 4 cakes.

Moonpenny, it is mainly about the lighting, if you can take a good picture on a clean background then you can lighten them up using free programmes. faststone is a good one for this as it is very easy to use and you can do plenty of things with it.

Well I am really not a crafty person at all but I would love to have a go at making 2 nappy cakes, one for my niece and one for my best friend. I have a few quesyions (soory if they have been posted but I haven't managed to read all the pages of the thread):

How many nappies do people use per 3 tiered cake? Lots of different numbers floating around.
Do you need wooden dowls between the layers?
Is it chaper to buy the cellophane from ebay or a local florist?
How wide does the cellophane need to be?
What about the ribbon, where is the best place to buy it and how wide?

M&S have 3 for 2 on some of their soft toys at the moment if anyone is interested.

Some fab cakes on here, I've got lots of inspiration. Don't know if mine will look as good.
