Jojo,I love your single tier it's gorgeous!

Well after using up my old chiffon ribbon I have decided I much prefer the look of the softer ribbon on top of the florists ribbon. So I have ordered some of the "sshh baby" ribbons in beige, pink and blue and a lemon spotty one I think! Also ordered a bow crimper from fiskars (similar to the bowdabra I think) so hopefully they will arrive soon!

Right nice to be back but now off to make the most of the beautiful sunshine and give a very grubby shetland pony a bath (he'll really be thanking me for that!) and then a bbq-not for the shetland I have to add!:rotfl:

Catch you all later this evening.

    Afternoon Everyone!
I agree with the organza ribbons Becs! After ordering loads of reels of satin type ribbon, I also got some organza and like you said, it gives a much softer look.

Anyway, I can't sit here any longer, am off in the garden - loads to do!

Ive stumbled accross the "nappy cake" thread today and as much as Ive trawled through the thread i cant work out what the cupcakes contain. I was particularly interested in Bellag's p220 post #4383 pic 2.
I was wanting to attempt these for an expectant cousin. I only want to attempt it as a gift to her...
    TIA

Thanks Yummy Mummy Cat- I finally found a you tube video on pg 13 that sorta explained it. One thing tho, with the cakes- how does the middle tier stay on top of the bottom [biggest] tier without slidding off?

Btw- ive noone to make this for until august, but im so interrigued!

in my nappy cake ive put bubble bath and stuff in the middle so theres something to put the top tier around.
