thanks for the answers to my questions
I had another, I take it they look best if you use 2 of the same blankets for each tier?
I saw this set, its a blanket and then a comforter (teddy cloth thing)

Is there a way that could be stretched around an higher teir or something and his head brought near the front?
I really dont know the best way of going about them!
I also like the 3 tier cakes most but want to keep the costs right down (no one close to me is having a baby!). How many nappies do you need to do them?
Sorry for all the questionsBest wins in 2013 £200 and Mini iPad. 2014 no wins. 2015 2 nights 5* hotel with £300 vouchers plus £1150 Harrods gift card

Hi Vicky
Here's one I added to a cake a few weeks ago. I folded it in half and just tucked the corners into the top if the nappies. The ribbon then helped to hold the head into place. I was going to use a nappy pin at the back of the head but it in the end I didn't need to

Hiya - yes I've been using those too - little plastic 'peg' like things sort of! No idea where you can buy them thought - I was thinking exactly the same and wondering where I could get more!! If anyone knows I'd love to know too.

Maybe a few trips to the shops changing rooms could help, you usually see some lurking on the floor :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: or pretend trying on the clothes that have these on .... very MSEhi

Exactly, just think of all the extra bending down the cleaner now hasn't got to do, and no more clogging up the hoover :rotfl:kitiaracat wrote: »is it bad i already do this

Here is one i did last night, i can't decide if the middle tier needs some ribbon on but a slightly different colour as the ribbon i have is almost the same colour as the bodysuit. I was very pleased when my ds saw it this morning he said wow mummy that looks like a cake. He is only 3.
