Hmmm, one of my friends has commented she thinks Im over charging...

O.k, so I know theirs not much difference between the different tiers but they look so much more expensive.

    What you think?

I sold a 2 tier cake for £25 and just had an order for another 2 tier cake off same lady. My 2 tier has quite a bit in it, and thats where the cost comes from. it contains

    24 size 3 Huggies Nappies (11 – 20lbs)
    Soft Blanket
    Pink Vest (0-3 mths)
    Pair Socks
    Scratch Mit
    Hat
    Bootees
    2 Wash Cloths
    2 Bibs
    Brush, Comb & Rattle
    Baby Girl Soft Teddy

Have a good look around on line see if your prices are the same as others that may help

Well done on another order mmmm hard one ifyou dont have the stock i would dismantle the 3 tier i think
I was thinking the same, dismantle. I decided I would make to order after I sold my remaining stock of cakes. So it seems pointless buying more stock when its already there, even though its made up.

Wow! So many new posts to read in just one day!

Everyones cakes are looking great especially Chatty’s Pink one. It’s gorgeous.

I keep buying stock but then I make them up before I have orders and tend to sell what I have already made.

On the subject of 2 and 3 Tiers being similar – I have been making some new 2 Tiers and am trying to put in different stuff to the 3 Tiers. As there is not a great difference in price, it’s hard to get the contents just right. I think there is not enough in, so I add more and it becomes too expensive like a 3 Tier. Driving me nuts!!!! I’ve taken them to bits more times!!

Can I ask you girls – I use Pampers Nappies size 2. Say I used 30 in a cake, how many Huggies would I have to use instead? I think someone said they are thicker!

Good Morning ladies, Moonpenny - you was up late lol
Julie H - you managed to get 5 cakes done in 40 minutes, wish i could get a little faster on mine.

Anyway, I think im gonna dismantle and convert my 3 tier into a 2 tier.

Had another email before I switched pc off, from the potential customer asking about price for P & P.

Wheres the best place to find this out? and roughly how much would it be (delivery about 16 miles away)
Which courier or should I deliver for a price? and how do I go about collecting the payment?
I have a paypal account, can I send the customer an invoice though paypal? I dont fancy accepting cheques.

Thanks for the advice in advance
    love
    Nicky
