Thankyou Candy and Chatty. Chatty I have to make up some mock cakes for my website as the black background I have been using on the pictures is too harsh for the site so will try and make up some using that method see if I am happy with them
Candy do you have a primark? They do lemon bathtowels, or Mothercare used to do a set of 3, 1 x white, 1 x green and 1 x lemon although they used to be expensive ....not sure how much they are now but possibly reasonable enough ? Edit: they are £12.99 and are not all lemon.
Try wilkos as I saw a lemon one in there I think?Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

I would say you'd use the same amount which ever method you used, but when I tried both I found by unrolling+rolling made the nappy more stronger, if you know what I mean.0 -

Thanks Chatty, which way do you roll from? i.e do you start at the front of the nappy and roll your way back? or do you start from back to front? if that makes sense?Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Thanks Candy. I normally do that when I just roll them as per picture. But never tried the whole opening out thing. Hopefully I can have a play tonight after the kiddies are in bedRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0

Will try Primark tomorrow. I used to love their giraffe hooded towel, bought some lovely orange and yellow ribbons to co-ordinate it too, but last time I went in, they had changed to white/silver and beige/brown:mad:
Fingers crossed they have the lemon one (and a blue one ....).
Think I need to up my price on the bath time sets, I'm doing more of them than the normal nappy cakes ..... besides it's £3.50 for a bath towel and only £1 for a blanket  Plus my poundland don't have any more of the coloured rubber ducks !!!!A creative mess is better than tidy idleness0 -
Let me know Candy, if you can't get one I will try the usual haunts around here for you and see if I can get one for you and send it over.
Will reply to your PM later on hun, we are just off out the doorI just had to check something before I went

rusty I roll from the from the the back. i fold in the front part, cos thats the thickest, then roll.... TIP: for the bottom tier I tend to roll tightly, then once they're all assembled I find its quite a solid base for the other 2 tiers.
let us know which you prefer..0
