For those who were looking for pull bows - http://www.futura-online.co.uk/shop/category.asp?catid=83 I've never bought from this company online but have bought pull bows from them before in the shop (and various crafty stuff). seems to be much cheaper so might help someone.

    Hi,

    what is the P+P charge?

    Thanks :)

No idea! like I said I've only ever been in the shop but there's a phone number so you could call them if you were interested - doesn't seem obvious from first look at the site I know.

Shelley - I have got 1 Duck left now. I actually took 3 back to M& S a while ago cos I thought they wouldn't be good sellers! Got them in the sale too.

Rusty, all the bows have been done separately and hot glued on. I do both, but when I tie them it's usually a longer droopier bow.

I use the 2 loop method.
When you first tie it, do it really loose and keep the bow bit smaller than you want by pulling the long ends.
As you tighten it, the bow will get bigger. If it gets too big then pull long ends again before you tighten.
Fiddle with it to place the way it sits before you pull it tight.

Has anyone got "best sellers" or colours that go more than others?
I tend to make different cakes up and then sell from pics and I think, up to now (apart from duck) every one has been different.

Shelley - What a shame, I didn't know you would like them! Mind you, I could do with them myself now. LOL

Just had an order for a pink 3 tier.
It's the first time that ive added any green leaves to the sock roses. Not sure if I like them, do I take them off or leave them on???

The bath set I did a couple of weeks ago.

Love the three tier its gorgeous- the ribbons really set it off nice. Leave the leaves on they give a good effect.
