    Hi DaisyClaire,

I can't see that it's doing any harm, not as if Bellag is actively advertising as such. It's been quite useful for alot of us long term members of the board who are like Bellag attempting to do this more professionally. We have been able to see her website and get ideas for our own products and websites. There's not much point in Bellag advertising her nappy cake business on a forum of people making nappy cakes!

But its not a forum of people making nappy cakes -its a forum of people making/doing loads of things and talking about special occasions!

Im not trying to be a cow - just pointing out that it is advertising - you either advertise or you don't - theres no 'not advertising as such' and its not allowed....no one else is doing it so why should it be one rule for Bella and another for everyone else?

Am I the only one that is getting to grips with sock roses (see latest pics), but when you try to do a double one it goes wrong? Lol.

    Think I need to re-plan!

    Blimey!

Thanks Becs- like you said its only us other nappy cake makers that see my web address and I dont/haven't ever posted anywhere else on MSE. I was sharing my ideas, designs and cakes with the others on here. If I was that sad that I wanted to advertise on here then I would be posting all over MSE and NOT on here in fear of somebody copying me lol!

Taken it off now so as not to upset others.

Can anyone help i do baby bouquets in a Galvanized Bucket but cant wrap it right i wrap them like my nappy cakes but it does not look right if any one else makes them how do you wrap yours. I seen a photo on the web yesterday of baby cupcakes and how she wraps them is how i would like to do my bouquets it was cellophane done underneath and then pulled up but only just a little so just enough to cover it and then left it open i think i would need to use a square of cellophane or 2 squares

Julie, I put 2 socks together (one inside the other) and do the roll and wrap the sock over method. I havent seen your socks, but I KNOW Im doing somthing wrong as none of my roses look as good as Bellas, or others!

Hi Julie, have you tried wrapping the cellophane around the bucket- so its sort of in a tube and then cellotaping underneath and just a little on the side where the cellophane overlaps? It needs two hands as somebody needs to hold the bucket up.

I have started doing this on my cakes as well as you get fewer creases and folds and use much less cellophane. For the 3 tier cakes you will need a long roll though 80cm (width)so you have enough left over either end to stick underneath and tie at the top.

Can I ask how you do your bouquets? do you put stems and leaves on with florists tape on all the items? I have done a couple of bouquets like this but it takes ages and just wondered if everybody actually did this or just rolled up items and rubberbanded them?

    B xx
