I would setup my oscillating bar lawn sprinkler and not be too careful with setting the end stops to make it fall exactly short of the fence. Find out if her and her phone are light shower proof... oops!

Sorry but she has declared war first.

But then you'd be paying for a new phone for her?

I'm amazed that people think it's okay to listen to music in your garden for hours at a time. Whilst it may not be loud or unlawful, it's incredibly annoying.

To be fair, I don't think people are saying it's an OK thing, or that it might not be annoying.

But if it's not unlawful, then one has to decide how to react, and that will be partially driven by an assessment of whether it's now being done just to annoy, and if so, whether any kind of retaliation would work.

If it were me, I'd probably take my brushcutter outside with me and leave it on tickover for a few hours while I pottered, but we're all different, so what we're prepared to do depends on our personalities.

It may be best for the OP to do nothing passive-aggressive and just consider ways of cancelling-out the irritation, as she's suggesting.

Actually that is a good one if the wind is blowing right. A bit of extra 2 stroke oil in the mix and mine stinks pretty bad.

Ye, that's no how courts work. Think taking your advice would be an expensive lesson in exactly how they work though....
