Site Hanging on Posts

Dear Forum Team
For the past two weeks there has been an intermittent fault with the forum hanging when you post, duplicate posts appearing (possibly as users hit Submit again when nothing has happened!) and the site generally running laggy and slow.
Can your techies look at this please? Our Board Guide RedFox is aware of the problems we have been experiencing - I am not sure if it is site wide?

Which browser and version are you using eg Chrome?
Which forum version are you in - blue or old green?
What time of day does this usually happen for you, is it evenings?

Thank you MSE Andrea for responding - it was the Elite thread and was on all browsers/at all times of day for a number of users. The thread was on over 85000 posts (since the system was changed and we were allowed to continue beyond 10,000 posts). RedFox has started a new thread and it appears to have solved the issue - which suggests that "unlimited" on the forum software is actually around 80,000 posts (4 million views) before the site starts having issues

Problem solved for now.
