Just started nursery but scared to go to the toilet, advice please!

It's normal. Teachers deal with this in Reception classes. Kids get too engrossed in what they are doing and forget they need to go, or they feel embarrassed or whatever. She's only just started there, give her time to get used to it. How often did you take her to the toilet/potty? If you are at home a lot with easy access to a potty/toilet and ask her constantly if she needs to go, it will be easier than at nursery when that isn't being done. 2 years is still very young and she may not have a lot of bladder control. Give her some time.0

Are the toilets smaller than a standard one ? My daughter had similar issues we worked out the size of the toilet was her issue so the staff allowed her to use their full size loo , that resolved the problem.This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
