That's my concern, that they say it exceeded the time or whatever even though I know it was only for a split second and there is no way to proove it.I think the issue people are having though is that it's their word against Samsung's about how long or how deep the phone was submerged for.
It's easy for Samsung, seeing water damage, to maintain that the phone was immersed in water in conditions other than they state that it can cope with.
Or your phone has previously taken a fall and appeared alright but in actual fact the waterproofing has been compromised.
Waterproofing on phones makes a great selling point, but I'm pretty nervous about letting my S7 anywhere near water.
Once I send my phone off if they decide it is water damaged then they will charge me a fee and hold me at random with my phone, not even sure i should send it off now.
Ive found one watermark sticker in the sim card slot and that shows no water damage, but apparently, there are many more of them inside.0 -
Repair does it have to be sent off ?? What is the actual pre water problem .0
