I used to have one of the round ones. I think I got it from betterware or kleeneze as well.
We only use bar soap now beside the kitchen sink, as it tends to clogg up the upstairs sinks with yukky gunge. I'd deffently use one though if we used more soap - that sounds awful dosn't it. :eek:0 -
i might try this see if i can inflict a lasting memory:rotfl:
my two are are 2 and 6 so they might think its funthe older one is quite into recycling so i might get away with.

Hello
I put odd bits of soap into a small mesh bag - the ones inside a box of washing powder tablets are ideal and leave it dangling on one of the taps over my kitchen sink.
I then moisten the bag and rub my hands over it and the soap still lathers enough for a thorough wash and the water drains away so the bag does not get too manky.
It works very well and when my hands are especially dirty the texture of the bag acts as a scub.
I also have one hanging in the bathroom which I use as an exfoliator.0 -

Could someone please tell me how to make all my leftover bits of bath soap into one usable size piece. Read somewhere about adding water and pressing in a mold but not sure exactly how. Thanks0

Sorry can't help but would also be interested if anyone has an answer.0

the other way is to stick the old bit to a new bar........ just after you have used the new bar, so they are both sticky.......smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

You need to put them into a bowl over a pan of boiling water (like a double boiler) and add a few drops of water. Then when it's softened, you can put it into a mould (I've used rinsed out tetra pack cartons before now and then sliced the moulded soap).
If the bits of soap are old, they wil have an unpleasant smell because any scent will be long gone, so you may want to add a couple of drops of essential oil to the mix.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
