I remember those, ours was like two plastic circular pots, one smaller fitted inside the other and compressed the soap bits. Fairly useless info as I don't know where to get one but you could try tupperware containersWW lost 33 lbs so far, [strike]13st1lb[/strike] [strike]12st13lbs[/strike] [STRIKE]11st12.5lbs[/STRIKE] 11st11lbs0

I think I've seen something like that in either the Cleaneze (sp?) or Betterware catalogues. I think it's round and squishes (technical term of course!) the little bits of soap together.
Hope this helps

I bought mine from a Bettaware catalogue about 15 years ago and must have more than saved the three quid it cost over the years .my DD's actually give me their odd ends of soap for my container0

I never have ends of soap left over as I just squash the old bit onto a new bar.0

We used to have one of those, I think it was called 'Soapy Sam'!Stompa0

There is something so special about a new bar of soap that is spoiled by squishing the dreary leftover sliver onto it. I chuck the last sliver of the old bar into the bin AND I DON'T CARE0

I have done it in the past... what I did was to grate all the old bits up, mix it with a teeny bit of water and heat it up, then I poured it into moulds and let it set until it was firm (took a few weeks).......
anotehr suggestion is to use the old bits and pieces to make gloop for washing laundry.......0 -
When the kids were small I used to stitch an old flannel or piece of towelling into a bag and put all the ends in. Then when enough ends were saved I stitched up the opening. When wet in the bath/shower it lathered easily. BTW the kids hated it and still talk about it in derogatory terms now they are grown up so it must have made an impression!!! lol.Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot. :think:0
