The point I made is that people would open accounts and not disclose it on a public forum. On the other hand, they might post openly and call it a "theoretical discussion"...
Read the discussion - you will see that what was discussed is simply not practical. There is no pretending it is "theoretical" in order to cover tracks, there would simply be no point in doing it.This post by somebody, taken from the other thread, shows an interest in opening over 30. If they wanted, why wouldn't somebody else have? Just because they haven't posted saying they did?
I think this is the post by someone who later says they opened 7?You yourself came up with this comment:
Which you are quoting outside of the context it was made in. It was a joke - hence the wink"In the future, everyone will be rich for 15 minutes"0 -

Or to take up the car metaphor once more, the fleet buyers have bought up all the stock.0

Well, people are running like Cheetahs to snatch the food; but as your name suggests, you have chosen to walk like an elephant my dear elephantrosie,:D

On another thread few people are discussing to open 50 of them. In more extreme case, 400 RS ISA funded with just £25 - £50 on the first month so their money will get interest of 4% of full £20,000 for a full year. Whether they actually did this, I have no idea. No wonder it is sold out quick ...
That makes me laugh! Yes, no wonder.0 -
A poster in the other thread we cannot post in who had opened multiple regular saver and RS ISA stated they had received emails from Ford stating that customers were only allowed one of each product. The emails stated they would be listening to customer feedback before deciding what action to take.
The customer got these mails after querying an account balance online.
Will be interesting to see what Ford do - I can't see them closing accounts they allowed to be set up but we shall wait and see. As a split ISA provider they can't also argue you can have multiple ISA accounts paid into in year as a reason to close multiple RS ISA accounts.

In the interests of fairness to those that missed out this time, I would make the terms for future issues over the next year that you were ineligible for that issue if you hold more than one of a previous issue.0 -
Spoilsport ! I wonder if Ford can be bothered to repeat the exercise ?0
