Evening all, a late check in from me! DH, LO and I went out to a carboot sale this morning and the weather was lovely, it was so nice to get out, I didn't buy anything either, win!
Other than that I've done a full, yet very quick tidy of the flat, 2 loads of washing, 1 still in the dryer, bathed and hair washed and wine cracked open!
I'm just going to chill out before bed now and do some surveys, I cant really be bothered but I really do need the extra cash!
I've also checked my bank account today, not good, had to take money from my savings!
Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend xDebt free once - Back again | Current debt: £2479.50 - January 2025 | Make £2025 in 2025 #11 - £41/£20250 -
Despite being an hour past reduction time I still managed to get:
Finest tomatoes on the vine
Sweet mini peppers X 3 packs
Tuna and sweet corn pasta salad X 2
Tuna and cucumber sandwich X 3
Prawn mayo sandwich X 1
I've chopped and frozen the peppers in six bags, the teens can have the pasta salad when they get in later and the sandwiches are for lunches tomorrow (plus one for the fox tonight :rotfl: )
I wish I knew what to do with more tomatoes as there were about a dozen packs there. I'm not keen on tomato-based sauces so that's out, in fact I only really like tomatoes fried or grilled.
Since the sofas went I have rearranged some stuff to get a narrower shelf unit at the end where the sofa is/will be to give another few inches of space. When I have some money/a proper job I will get a proper desk built into the alcove under the stairs, until then it's my old one.
We have blue tits nesting in the nest box again, the chicks are making a hell of a racket and mum and dad have been back and forth all day.
The nasty carpet runner I put down the kill the grass growing over the path has worked a treat, I've moved it to the next stretch now. I was planning to buy some tent pegs from the pound shop to peg down some of the black weed suppressant stuff and then cover it with bark chips but I think the combination of the carpet and a bit of weed killer might be enough to expose the original path.
The garden fence at the front needs replacing but this is going to have to wait until next year.
Right, I'm off for a bath, enjoy the remainder of the weekend allMake £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
