Two years ago when still fighting the debt we had £35/week for two adults for shopping, toiletries and cleaning products.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -

Evening all!
I have made a start on the front garden. I cut back some of the overhanging stuff and dug the manure into the bed and planted one of the hydrangeas (one was enough), it was a hell of a job getting it out of the pot though! The garden centre just sent me £10.50 in money off coupons and some money off vouchers so I bought two six-packs of lavender which I've planted round the hydrangea (it's a central circular bed.)
I popped down to check out the YS stuff and bought some bits at the current reduction price rather than chance not getting them later so I have two packs of cherries and some half price chicken and chorizo skewers. I will still pop back later for 90% off the sandwiches as there were scores of them but there's too much competition for the soft fruit!
I'm currently waiting on someone that has made me an offer on both sofas I am selling, fingers crossed he turns up, as I plan to bid on another on TuesdayMake £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100 -
Thank you for get well messages, the antibiotics are doing their magic although I still have slight pain which I hope will clear soon.
I have had a quiet weekend and managed to do the following.
- Revisited the budget as I won't get paid for time off sick, so I will need to dip in to notice pay from my previous job, I had hope that I would have needed to as I found a job post redundancy quickly, I don't think I will need all of it. I have touch wood no planned large expenses coming my way so I should be able to save a bit.
- Housework, still need to sort DD uniform for school, only ironing but I will do this once she has gone to bed.
- Cancelled subscribe and save nappies as I have realised the price creeps up and reordered them at £8 less! for the same nappies
- Joined English Heritage with Tesco points so I can can take DD to places. We have an annual zoo pass so this will add nicely to the options.
- Cashed in some survey points so hopefully a voucher heading my way, I tend to use them for DD shoes.
- Ordered internet shop for delivery later in the week.0 -

I will:
Chop tiffin in squares and put back in freezer - done
Load of washing done overnight on line, another in machine which will go out later
Small list for sm, will go later, double check meal plan before I go
Add calories for day to tracker
Check surveys, FPL
Couple of banking tasks
Wrap 3 presents and write 3 cards all from stash/Pre bought
Clean bathroom
Vacuum through downstairs
Take Snacks for theatre later with us. Tickets all booked and paid for ages ago.
Post fleabay items, will walk down
Put two items to be returned in car so I can possibly do tomorrow when in another town for work
Plant out some more potatoes and check on rest and try and identify them
Right, must get on. Enjoy the sunshine everyone
Managed all of my list, plus an extra load of washing and changed two beds, dried on line and back on for tonight :T
Made malt loaf, didn't rise as much as normal, still tastes nice
Making sweet potato and bean burritos for DH using ys sweet pots
Forgot DH discount card, so only bought bear minimum in sm. used nectar points so spent 35p  should do us to end of week except maybe some milk :T
Do need to get DH some euros tonight (we'll order them) and also holiday insurance. Maybe do an hours work too to get ahead tomorrow.0
