    Great stuff! Well done.
I'll buy all that helped a virtual drink.
Mine’s a large one! Err hmm! :rotfl:
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • Congratulations on your well deserved win. Out of interest, at which car park did you receive the pcn?
  • Thank you, super relieved.
    It was Spear Street, Manchester.

Spear Street is a hot spot for SIP issuing pcn's - no surprises given its central location.

According to the BMPA website, SIP only had one case today - D4GF27Y2 in Darlington. Was this your case?
  • Yes, that’s mine.

Oh dear, a trip from Manchester to Darlington for the SIP rep, to get there late, then have to drive back with a flea in the ear and a hole in the pocket.

    This case keeps giving!

That's the icing on the cake! So SIP actually sent their employee from Manchester to Darlington, which is a 234 mile round trip, only to have their claim dismissed and pay you £95!
  • Yep, was sure they wouldn’t send anybody.. he looked sick as a parrot, he was only in the building for about 20 mins altogether

Was the person that turned up the same person who signed the witness statement? If so, he is definitely an employee of SIP who is based at their offices in Manchester. I have seen him in action at Manchester Court a number of times. I recall a case last year in the North East where SIP used a rep instead called Mr Pickup - I believe that they lost that one too!

Maybe he’ll be getting a Christmas present he’s not looking forward to! :)
