    Good Morning Everyone.

Really exciting day today of going to work - can hardly wait(!) only this week to go and then I am off for a week yeay!

Got my Slimming World weigh in today so branflakes for breakfast, salad for lunch and no tea until after weigh in (every little helps)

Best go and get the kids ready for school/nursery by the sounds coming from the living room they are practicing rugby tackles on each other.

    See you all later x

Frogga - well done on the weight loss

N9eav - Good luck for your OH today. Fuel will be at its highest ever this month -especially not good for us being a transport company - feel the Road Haulage Assoc will be stirring - hopefully wont blockade this time.

Wet and miserable here today. Not too bad for my plans but still not nice. This morning will be in the office doing admin. Need to pick ds up from school lunchtime as he has a hospital appointment this afternoon.

Will be something quick for dinner tonight like egg and chips as no idea when I will be home. May continue in my office tonight or will do some ironing - what a choice.

Quick surf then will get on - have a good one.x

    Good Morning All

Queenie - well done to your son for is music award

Not been around last week, been having a terrible time, with DS & his attitude towards me and other things! Its been getting me down. Tension headaches have now come back!

Haircut on friday, had about 4inch length taken off. Cant get used to it being shorter.Hope it grows back soon & quick!

Wk end was busy as usual, windows cleaned, winter curtains up, summer ones taken down washed & put away, all bedding changed, loads of washing/drying,(still doing the odd loads) housework, shopping, & gutted DD & DS bedroom. Both tidy and rubbish free (for how long)

Car boot on Sunday, made a profit of £74. Best we've ever done! Sold a few of my handmade cards also, so Im pleased about that! Managed to put some money away for DS school trip to France next year! Best thing was, mum passed something on for me to sell, her boyfriend came along and brought it back! And because it was ages ago, she doesn't remember it! She sent a text to say thanks! Dare I tell her it was originally hers! lol I wasn't there at the time, it was OH who sold it!

Sorted out the Christmas gifts brought so far, DD doing well,(but half of that will be towards her birthday in Nov) DS hardly got anything. I brought him a mobile phone as an early gift, so he'll have to make do with stocking fillers. Not got a clue what to buy him! he's 11 and into dinosaurs and nature!

Selling has been good on ebay. made nearly £80! But probably spent half of that on gifts!

Cant get back into the habit of meal planning fully, or baking! Have tried since the holiday, but cant get motivated enough. Please someone kick me up the jacksy!

DD at judo later. OH will help DS sort out his projects! They've got to be in by the 11th. He's nearly done now. They would have been done sooner, but because of recent tantrums!!! well - you know the rest!

Right best be off and get ready for the school run & work!
    Love as usual

    Hi everyone

Well it is REALLY miserable here today black and wet! But never mind I have loads to do. I was awake in the night thinking about it all but can only remember half of it now and it doesnt seem like scaling a never ending mountain this morning- especially if I stay off here!!

Queenie- Sorry you had a bad summer

N9eav- Hope all goes well for OH- I guess rthat means our oil for the central heating goes up as well !!!!!!

Frogga - That is amazing - you must be so chuffed. You clever frog!

Penelope Penquin and all the other little happy feet people- Thanks for my mention I shall be fine now on this Monday!

    Donny Gal- Enjoy your trip.

Well we are following Donny Gal on the 18th of October on a trip to Spain. We will return for Christmas on the 18th of December. So before we go I am determined to be ready. All cards written MIL will post them for me beginning of December, all presents wrapped and all things except food shopping ready. So pudding and cake made.

So although it feels a bit weird doing it all now I think it will be lovely to go away and actually be relaxed that everything is ready for the off on our return. so its Action Stations Christmas starting today.

Sandwich for lunch and Cold Beef with bubble and squeak for tea. So glad to have found you all because OS has helped me so much about being confident about Mr Chalky's retirement.

    Have a good day everyone

    Jackieo Hope you are improving.
Congatulations to all those celebrating and gentle thoughts to all those feeling sad or alone or just fed up.
Try and do a good deed every day.

    Morning all

Queenie - Lovely to see you posting again - sorry to hear about all your funerals but glad you had a great time at Butlins - DD's are badgering to go next year.

Hugs to all in need and  to all who are celebrating (Frogga - well done on that weight loss)

Had a relaxed weekend, DH came down with man flu and spent Saturday in bed, luckily he's feeling better today and has gone off to work. Having a few probs with DD1 and her friends - you know what preteen girls are like - it's hell! Feel like banging all their heads together.

Did a chicken in the SC yesterday but switched it to high instead of low and left it on for 6 hours - result - mush - ah well - we picked some meat for dinner and the rest is going into tonights soup - will make some HM rolls to go with it.

Just off out to the local outlet centre with a friend, not seen her for a while so will be nice to catch up and have a browse around the shops.

Hope you all have a great day.

    Morning all..what a lovely, lovely morning:D

well done frogga - again ;)

well i have vaccumed through and cleaned the windows, stripped our bed and got it going around in the WM.... will make it up again soon...just leaving it to air for a while

    Its a glorious, fresh n bright day..so i have all the windows tilted...its a bit "fresh"..but i love it...

Today will be HM sausages made into a casserole, with mashed potato n celeriac and loads of veggies :T

Im considering having a walk to the garden centre (although it sells all sort)... thought i could look at new varities of veg seeds that i can't get in the UK..ready for growing in my pots next year... will see if i can convince myself to spend some pennies ;) ... seem to have a real problem with that at the mo :p

well -update on SIS.... she has had her staples removed..and got the results back..and the rather large "mass" was cancer  ...but the good news is that they are 99.9% sure that it hasn't got anywhere else:T ..because it was surrounded by fluid, they say it seems to have been contained, and the mass came out in one:D ... but they have no idea what the "fluid" was..they are sending it to several other places to see if they can break it further down and work out what it is:confused: .. so she just has to go back in 2 weeks for further scans and 1 dose of chemo in the back of her hand "just to make sure"....but sis is feeling better than she has in years...just a bit tired :j

I have joined the PMS.... never seen it before  ...don't know how i missed that... but i am becoming a woman on a mission :p ..

Hugs to all in need...will catch up on the posts in a moment...just need to give mum a quick (haha) ring to make sure she is okay....

    Have a great day everyone:D

Morning all, not been posting lately - we've had the decorators in the past week, complete monkeys, they really are (they got grout on our walls, gloss on our floor/windows..and that's the tamest mess up  )

I've been bereft without my kitchen, but managed to get in yesterday, made rabbit stew and brownies...and it's duck a la orange today (cooking my own birthday tea....honestly  . But I've opened my presents, and I've got a wonderful cook book (bbc good food 101 cakes and bakes) - I wanna go baking now, and my rolser trolley is here :j :j :j

So, I'm off to go an see how to amuse myself while locked in the living room with my dogs, oh what fun lol.
