looks like mass spamming has started again so obviously the spam filter MSE put in place last time this happened has either been turned off or stopped working.

Do the staff at MSE Towers expect me to hit the SPAM button on each and every one of these ?

Not only these but passports and currency and kitchen spams this morning

unfortunately, yes. That is their preferred course of action rather than put in simple, much more robust methods of dealing with it.

I personally deleted 121 spam posts from the Loans board this morning which is not only time consuming but I could barely keep up because as fast as I deleted them the bot posted more and more. It could be stopped long before they get to post anything.

No, I think most posters do this out of goodwill, but maybe the BG's have more of a responsibility to delete spam?

It's quiet around here so far this morning, redfox. :D

  • Thanks for your help with this everyone. We haven't changed our spam settings, they should be as robust as usual.

A couple of our team are on leave this week though, so that just goes to show how hard they work when they're here :)
