I think me and OH need another conversation about money. How it is now is just not able to carry on. It's impossible. This is definitely a big factor in my worries and makes my anxiety a whole load worse.

Last full day today we're coming home tomorrow. I really don't want too :o but mum's coming Friday so easier to come home tomorrow than try to get out before they arrive.

Were down on the beach and have brought water/snacks and sandwiches so still a nsd. We managed without milk and the smalls had egg and beans for breakfast at 6am :o

No more money off the debts till Friday as I've paid the last of the account money to Mr Virgin.

Sorry, Hidden. I thought your Mum was there with you.
You are doing incredibly well but you're right - OH's behaviour is not doing you any good at all. Another conversation is in order but don't let thinking about it spoil your last day of your hoilday.

Glad your having a lovely NS holiday. Your doing fantastic. Especially taking the children on your own, your braver than I am, I dread taking all 5 of mine to the shop alone LOL. Enjoy your last day.

Just to make my day better had the mid year review for the rent arrears, because they don't take any of the debt to 'people' into account things are even tighter than tight :(

Ever wonder what the point is and feel like you just want to give up?

I am sorry to hear that. I meant to ask if you'd seen the debt advisers before you came away?

I did, it was pretty pointless to be totally honest.

They told me to 'forget' about friends and family and concentrate on the things that matter first! Which I know is right but still :o

I've had more helpful replies on here. They said a food budget of £35 a week for 5 is unrealistic and should be more! but there isnt more!

Not helpful at all. Not telling you anything that you didn't already know. Can I suggest that when you get back you make an urgent appointment with the Citizens Advice Bureau. You don't have enough money to feed your family and need somebody to negotiate with your creditors on your behalf. Try as hard as you might you really do need professional help to sort this out.

I think the issue is on paper disregarding what they say don't pay we do have enough :(

There's only really the council tax and rent plus the 2 fines they take into account. Them alone we'd manage okay. It's repaying the other stuff on top that's doing it which they won't take into account as 'debt' as it isn't a creditor just family and friends

There is also the issue of your OH smoking which is presumably expensive. I think you have given up haven't you? Will he not try to do this to let the budget become a little looser?
