  • Is that your Mum's debt totally paid off now?

No still £275 to go of the figure we agreed was the final figure.

Although I hope with being very strict with spending I will sort her before Xmas but obviously the new debt will come over her now :o
  • Definitely a sick child _pale_

Its my worst nightmare, and I'm sure everything stinks!

Going to give her half hour then chuck her in the shower :o Mean mummy :rotfl:

I am still using smalls tablet :o I'm sure it will change when Mums home and wants it returning, unless sick one can manage to keep it until better ;)

  • Things are sure sent to test us.

But I do feel I'm coming out the other side now. So long as I remember my painkillers ;) Things are getting back to normal.

Well done on paying a big chunk to your Mum. Hope DD is better soon.

I know housework is important to you, especially with a sick bug in the house, but don't do too much heavy stuff, especially if you are needing painkillers anyway. You need to recover as well :)

So glad you're feeling more like your old self, Hidden.
As far as your debt to your mother is concerned, I know it's a pain as there are other things you'd probably address first but if it's out of the way I suspect that you'll feel better. And stick firm about not taking sides. She may be doing what she thinks is best for you (we always do but we're not always right!) but you have to consider the wee ones. As I've said before follow your instincts.
I know you don't have much leeway this month but, as you say, enough food, roof over your head and warm house and you'll manage. Believe me your efforts will pay off in the end.
Lots and lots of hugs, You look after yourself and your lovely little ones.

  • Sorry about the phone HI, very upsetting :(. DS1 dropped his down the toilet a few months ago . DH and I were skint at that time so couldn't repace it, but a friend of DS1's bought him a new phone :T. I hope the rice works although it didn't with DS's unfortunately. Have you got any silicone as suggested?

Glad you're feeling a bit better. You will get there in the end, but I know it's tough now. I wish you got more support in RL, but you are so strong and cope so well :A.

  • It pains me more about Mum as I know she's right and for once everyone would agree with her :o :rotfl: Standing firm though.

Smalls are home :D DS got headteachers award in school today and he is beaming! Thinking I might make some popcorn and do a 'halloween' party snacks later and have a movie night with them. The sick one seems all recovered now schools out for the weekend  I can still stink around the house though :( I'm going to get the bleach out later and do everything again :o

Have soup and snacks cooking so just catching up while I can't really wander off in the risk of burning the house down. (Yes I did burn boiled eggs this week, so bad they exploded everywhere :o)

I'm trying to 'listen to advice given by GP' and not do too much, but as I've said many times I do clean and keep busy to keep my mind from wandering. Although I think I scared myself this time in just how low I was feeling and where the thoughts wandered. I've thrown myself in the deep end now and don't want to sit and 'relax'

The phone is still sitting in rice. It's definitely not worth getting repaired its old now even if I did love it. The screen alone wasn't worth getting repaired so definitely not worth it now with water damage even if it could be repaired.

I think someone has sorted something for me though ;) You know who you are :A

Headteacher's award - WOW. Well done to him. Listen to GP and don't do too much. Although your normal is too much for most of us. Glad you're sounding so much more positive.
