That thunder was awful, the bedroom windows shook they're new and double glazed so not much 'rattle room' thankfully it didn't last long here.. You are doing really well, definitely not letting yourself down by buying the littlies their school uniforms!! :T

Hi Hidden - wow, how you've managed by yourself with three children and no real income is amazing but I'm so glad that things seem to be looking up for you now.

Wow it's been a long day! A bridge has collapsed down the road and we have no water!! It's been off since 5 and I def didn't realise how much water I use :rotfl: They are in the process of moving water so we can have some apparently but how long it will take I've no idea!

Then the news in Barcelona is just awful :( Makes my water issues seem trivial.

It was a NSD until I gave in and had to buy water so I could make a brew and wash the kids/pots.

Oh bless you! How annoying and inconvenient! I hope they sort water for you soon x
  • It doesn't look like it will be anytime soon  It's turned the train line into a river!

The last update was at 9pm and said
Update @ 21.00 - In order to help get some water flowing through your taps again our inspector is in the process of moving water from a different area into yours whilst we’re sorting out the leak. You may find that it doesn’t flow as much as the pressure will be lower, but we’re working as quickly as we can on our pipe, so we can get your taps flowing back to normal again

We still have no water at all yet though.

    Morning :D

Happy Friday, hope all is well elsewhere.

Awful news in Spain I hope my sister stays safe :(

Will do tiny debt payments later, along with food shopping. I really wanted a lay in but I'm awake despite the kids being asleep.

Is your water back on? Tiny debt payments are great when you've been achieving so much too. Are you looking forward to food shopping? I was dreading mine last week but actually enjoyed the challenge!

The water is sort of back on. They've moved water from elsewhere, although its almost black! Never mind brown. They say it should be fine to drink and things but I can't bring myself to drink/use it :o but at least it means can flush the toilet x
Update @ 03.30 - Our engineers have now completed the movement of water from other areas to restore supply . All properties should now have their water supply restored, however, this may be at a lower pressure than you are used to. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Additionally, as there has been a disturbance to the water supply in the area, you may find that your water is discoloured or brown in colour. Our pipes have naturally occurring sediments and minerals at the bottom which can get disturbed every now and then.

We must be one of the last ones to come on! It came on at 3.10am and scared me to death when the toilet started filling etc.

Oh no! I don't blame you! I definitely would not be drinking it!!! Hope they get it sorted soon!!! I've woken myself up like that before, we had a power cut and stupidly left the switches to on, so in the middle of the night all the lights suddenly came on. Rather petrifying with a sleepyhead that can't quite understand it!
