Why? YOU HAVE NO MONEY AND YOU HAVE CHILDREN TO FEED AND KEEP A ROOF OVER THEIR HEADS - you CANNOT do this on no income. OH Should be contributing, but even then, you're absolutely entitled to claim whatever you're entitled to - it's not ,like you're making this up to get money that you shouldn't be getting!
The reason people pay a NI stamp is so that they can claim benefits, use the healthcare system, and eventually claim a pension etc - do you think it's wrong to go to the GP, dentist, or for an elderly relative to claim their pension? No. of course you don't. On that basis, neither is it wrong for you to make a claim.
Oh - and when you start working, you make sure that you continue to get whatever you're entitled to to maintain a living income please - no false nobility and insisting on refusing to claim any more!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Absolutely. Everyone deserves a decent standard of living so don't feel bad about claiming what you're entitled to. You try your very best (better than most I would say) and you are as much entitled to this as anyone else. Accept what you're due - nobody will think any less of you for doing so.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.
