Not much planned today, cook a sunday roast ;) of course and let the kids do some baking. I will probably have ironing to catch up after the kids are in bed. Other than that not much happening!

Smalls all still in bed so enjoying a peaceful coffee ;) Need to fit in a visit to my mum because she flys out to the sun on Wednesday for 4 weeks so I'll be all lonely :(

Sounds like a perfect Sunday to me :D

No chance of you being lonely, we're here and you can pm me if you need a chat X

Have a peaceful day, Hidden. I doubt you'll be bored whilst Mum's away. You always seem to find something to do to keep you busy.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

So as its weekend and PA is quiet I've decided to make a start on sorting some things.

I want to move the girls clothes in to my bedroom - this will mean my ironing efforts won't be destroyed EVERY day because they've changed for the 10th time pulling every single item out and throwing it back in

Then I'm going to move on to the toy cupboard, move DS into his own cupboard in his room* and reorganise the girls so it's easier to get to what they want.

*Both kids bedrooms have built in cupboards that originally were used as toy cupboards. However this led to disaster, every toy and box were pulled out and mixed up. So now the toy cupboards are two walk in cupboards on the landing. I'm hoping now DS is 8 he can be trusted to have them back in his room and be sensible and carry on with the one box out and no more until it's put away properly! The girls will remain in the landing cupboards ;) I might be being brave with DS but not stupid enough to allow the girls the same :p

    Afternoon HI,

All sounding good with you :D, new washer sounds lovely.

My DD2 pulls out the clean clothes, wears them for about 10 minutes and then screws them up and puts them on the bottom of the wardrobe  drives me up the wall!!! Im glad youve found a solution to the problem!!!

Happy 6 weeks with your little ones xx

I am so looking forward to the next 6 weeks MTG :D

Today has been successful, everything sorted, we cooked the roast, made yorkshire puddings, along with a chocolate cake for their pudding and some smaller cakes for snacks :D

All the beds got done and managed to dry on the line :D Now the rains here but I don't mind at night.

All smalls tucked up into bed and asleep.

Nat!onwide is still down  so can't check banks and transfer the little money around

I've even got the windows cleaned, I love the feeling of a spotless house, sleeping kids and a fresh bed waiting ;)

I'm quite surprised it turned out productive this morning I really didn't have the motivation to move :o

OH come to talk and see the kids and happy to say all is well.

Need to visit mum tomorrow before she goes away, so will pack the kids pack lunches and spend the day at hers, hopefully the weather is dry so the kids can play in the sand etc while there. If not I'm sure it will be some sort of baking but making a mess in nannas kitchen and not mine :p

  • Morning Hidden, sounds like you've had a wonderful weekend :) I'm glad that your ex's visit to see the kids was pain-free, that must be such a relief! Have a lovely time with your mum, I'm sure nanna won't mind a bit of mess if it means an afternoon baking with the grandkids :) I have such lovely memories of baking with my granny when I was tiny, it always makes me think of her when I make certain things :)
