Wow hidden, just caught up for the week. Can't believe how much you get done on so little, what a productive week, worktop, washer, teacher pressies and feeding the 5000 :T

New worktops are in :D Looks lovely :p Need to paint some bits on the walls now. I want to buy new cupboard doors too :o but I guess that will remain a want :o

I just made some curtains out of a pair of brand-new pillow cases from the local charity shop, and one of those stretchy wire-cords with the hook on each end, to cover the front of the under sink storage in the loo - £1.50 for the pillow cases and 89p for the wire. I had some thread. Looks quite pretty if I do say so myself and more bespoke than cupboard doors.

Have a great weekend Hidden and thanks for putting a positive spin on my thread. I was feeling inept and you picked me up. x

Ive done a similar thing in my kitchen, just shortened a pair of plain cream curtains that I had and threaded the wire cord through the header tape, dead easy and looks good.

Thanks all for stopping in :)

Today has been a total failure :o

I have dozed on and off all day on the sofa, other than the basic chores and feeding of the kids nothing has been done so far :o

You must've needed it after all the rushing about you've done recently. Don't feel bad about it. Hope you feel rested now xx

    Hi Hidden

Don't see it as a failure as you probably needed a good rest after everything you have been doing & to build up you energy for the week ahead :)

Watching To the bone on Netfl!x. Brings a lot to home...

While today hasn't been productive it has been a NSD. Probably because there isn't much choice ;) but still a NSD.

They know you are a super mum and even super mums need to have a rest. So, feet up with a cuppa and chill with your shows missus, you've earned it :D

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.
