How long have you had your Barclaycard?
If it's a reasonable amount of time you might find they are your best bet.
Once you have a decent record with them they will usually accept you for a second card (or more)
I have 3 different "Platinum" cards with them with no problems. They didn't show up in the various eligibility checkers but checkingon the Barclaycard website it showed 90% chance to be accepted.(under the tab am i eligible under credit cards/choose a barclaycard)
Worth a try, especially as it's only a soft check that won't hurt your credit file, and the all rounder card allows you to purchase interest free as well as 0% balance transfers if you need them.0 -
The all rounder default is 25 months 0% purchases and 25 months 0% balance transfer

you can often have 2 cards but you can't BT from one to another within the same company / group of companies.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

What do the results say?
Capital One is no good as they are a subprime card provider so your credit limit with them would likely only be £100 or £200.
Not always think my limit started at about £1000...been a while, but was decent enough limit to start.0 -

I recently got a 0% balance transfer Virgin credit card.
It also let me do a 0% money transfer into my bank account.
Could you use that transferred money to pay off Very and buy the season ticket?0 -

Did you even bother to read the thread before posting a pointless response? Or specifically, post number 8 from the OP??I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards.
